Right to Know Extension
The New Jersey Worker and Community Right to Know (RTK) Act, N.J.S.A. 34:35A-1 et seq., requires that every year public employers report on the Right to Know Survey whether or not their facilities have hazardous substances present. Employers who do not comply are in violation of the Right to Know Act and are subject to penalties of $1,000 per facility.
Under Executive Order #159, the deadline for public employers whose surveys for the 2019 reporting year are due on July 15, 2020 is extended until NOVEMBER 15, 2020.
