Educational Leadership Degree Programs

Want a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership?

NJASBO has entered into affiliation agreements with St. Peters College in Jersey City to provide opportunities for our members to pursue a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. The colleges have agreed to reduce rates for tuition and have both agreed, upon review, to allow the purchase of credit for the certification classes taken with NJASBO.
 

St. Peter's College

Master of Arts Educational Leadership

This program provides a more traditional approach to acquiring a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. Successful completion of the ASBO Certification Program (145 Clock Hours) may qualify the individual for up to 12 credit hours towards an Educational Leadership degree. The entire certification program must be successfully completed prior to awarding graduate credit. Credits may be purchased at a 50% discount to the current year's tuition rates. Individuals who choose to continue their education at St. Peter's will be entitled to a 25% tuition discount for all future courses leading to a Masters Degree in education taken within five years of the date of the first purchase of credits. PURSUE A CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY FOR THE POSITION OF CHIEF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATOR

If you already have a Masters Degree and wish to pursue a certificate of eligibility for the position of Chief School Administrator, the NJEXCEL program offered by the Foundation for Educational Leadership may be right for you. NJASBO fully endorses the NJ Principals and Supervisors Association EXCEL program (Expedited Certification for Educational Leadership) for those interested in pursuing this certification.

If you already have a Masters Degree and you are interested in pursuing a CSA certification, NJASBO recommends that you contact the NJ Principals and Supervisors Association. NJASBO is working with PSA to encourage our members seeking CSA certification to consider PSA's EXCEL program (Expedited Certification for Educational Leadership). This program, offered through PSA's Foundation for Educational Leadership offers a unique combination of self-directed study and field experience for those persons interested in obtaining a certificate of eligibility.
